In the 2024/2025 school year, the Chilliwack School District began work on a new 2025 - 2029 Strategic Plan. With the collaboration and input of partners and school communities - students, parents, guardians, caregivers, staff, First Nations, Rights Holders, Inuit, Métis, community, and partner organizations - the Board of Education developed a Strategic Plan to guide the District's work for the next four years.
The refreshed plan includes the Chilliwack School District's purpose, vision, and values, as well as measurable goals, priorities, and objectives. It reflects what makes the Chilliwack School District unique and it will support student success, foster well-being, and create an environment where staff and students thrive.
From November 5, 2024, to April 11, 2025, the District held consultation forums and hosted two surveys, gathering approximately 8,565 responses from students, staff, parents, guardians, caregivers, Elders, and Indigenous communities.

District staff and the Board of Education carefully reviewed the feedback. The 2025 - 2029 Strategic Plan was unanimously approved by the Board of Education at the June 30th, 2025 public board meeting.
