The Province is launching a measles immunization catch-up program to help BC families ensure their children are protected from measles. The program will run from April through June 2019.

The Chilliwack School District Board of Education has approved in principle, pending consultation with the community, the creation of a new Integrated Arts School at the former University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) site, near mid-town, available to grades 8 to 12 students from across Chilliwack.
Unique Land Purchase to Benefit Chilliwack Students
Rob Fleming, Minister of Education, announced that the Province is providing the Chilliwack School District with up to $10 million to purchase part of the former Chilliwack North campus of the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) for the site of a new school. The purchase is the result of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training and UFV working in partnership to meet the growing needs of the Chilliwack School District.
