Laurie Throness was elected to the Board of Education in the local 2025 School Trustee By-election on March 1, 2025. He will formally take the Oath of Office at a Special Regular Meeting of the Board of Education on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 4:00pm. Upon taking the oath, Trustee Throness will be officially recognized as a member of the Board and will be able to fully engage in board business.
