Air Quality

The Chilliwack School District closely monitors air quality in our region. Here are a few details of how we keep our students and staff safe by implementing temporary health and safety measures including:

  • Allowing students who are sensitive to the smoke to remain indoors during lunch/breaks;

  • Closing exterior doors and windows and utilizing filtered ventilation systems;

  • Rescheduling outdoor activities;

  • Closely monitoring students with asthma or other breathing conditions.
