Supporting Learning At Home

Many parents and caregivers are looking for ways to support their students at home.  The list below provides some online resources and websites provided by the BC Ministry of Education, which may help support learning.

Math for Families

Reading for Families

Writing for Families

Healthy Living for Families

There are many opportunities within your daily routine that can be used as learning opportunities.  Encourage your child to look at their surroundings, whether you are in the car, at the grocery store, or out for a walk, then ask questions such as "What do you notice?", "What do you wonder?" "What does this remind you of?".  These conversations spark interest and promote thinking.
