iPad Contest Terms and Conditions

  • Contest opens May 4, 2020
  • Contest closes July 31, 2020
  • There are three (3), 32GB iPads available to be won

Draw dates:

  • June 15, 2020 (cut off for entries midnight May 31, 2020)
  • July 13, 2020 (cut-off for entries midnight June 30, 2020)
  • August 17, 2019 (cut–off for entries midnight July 31, 2020)

To qualify for the draw:

  • Entrants must be a Registered Student of SD 33 Chilliwack.
  • Entrants must qualify as a Regular Rider (see Eligibility page for definition of Regular Rider).
  • Overflow Riders with a confirmed Overflow Form from their catchment school are eligible for the draw. The Overflow Form must be provided to the Transportation Department from the catchment school prior to the cut-off date for entry to the draw.


  • 1 iPad is available to be won per Regular Rider registration.
  • An entry that has won an iPad, will not be entered into consecutive draws.
  • Non-winning entries from the previous month will be included in consecutive draw(s).
  • Chilliwack School District is not responsible for manufacturer’s defects. For defects, service, or product inquiries, refer to manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Chilliwack School District is not responsible for website service interruption.
  • Winners will be notified directly by the Transportation Department.
  • Prizes must be claimed within 30 days.


Courtesy Riders (all categories) are not eligible for the draw. Courtesy Ridership is based on the availability of seats on busses after all Regular Riders have been placed. Courtesy Rider registration requests cannot be confirmed until the first week of September. Therefore Courtesy Rider registrations are not eligible for the iPad draw which closes July 31, 2020.

2021 School Trustee By-Election

The School Trustee by-election day is Saturday, February 13, 2021. The by-election is organized for the School District by the City of Chilliwack. The candidate nomination period is Tuesday, December 29 

CUPE Skills, Training and Enhancement Fund

Applications for the new CUPE Skills, Training and Enhancement Fund will be accepted twice annually for adjudication. All CUPE staff are eligible to apply to this fund. Further information and application forms can be found in the staff section of our website

School Bus Safety Tips

For Drivers

  • The large AMBER alternating flashing lights warn motorists that the school bus is about to stop to either load or unload students; slow and stop if it is safe to do so.
  • The large RED alternating flashing lights warn motorists to STOP as the school bus is either loading or unloading students.
  • Drivers must STOP in either direction whenever you see flashing RED lights on a school bus.
  • After stopping for a school bus, don't start moving again until the bus moves on or the driver signals that it's safe by turning off the lights and pulling
